Functions and Responsibilities:

1.   The Committee shall perform function like curricular design and restructuring of syllabus by delegating members to Board of Undergraduate Studies under the University.

2.   It will frame Academic Calendar and Routine for each academic session.

3.   Initiate faculty & Student development programme viz Training/Remedial classes/Tutorials etc.

4.   Decide process of admission and extend services to administrative wing during the process of admission.

5.   Decide process of examination and extend services to Examination Committee during Internal & University Examinations.

6.   Making efforts for modernization of teaching and learning Processes.

             7.   Execute proposals & plans assigned by the IQAC Committee       whenever the need arises.

1.   To formulate and prepare the proposals for infrastructure development and to monitor various developmental scheme under progress.

2.   Provide necessary facilities for classrooms/sports/ women/differently-abled students/extra-curricular activities etc (furniture, equipment & fixtures).

3.   Maintenance of budget for physical facilities through existing/mobilized resources/ utilize the funds allocated for maintenance.

4.   Maintenance of staff room /students’ common room/rest rooms & toilets, canteen, parking lot etc.

5.   Adequate system for maintaining & utilizing physical facilities & library and information facilities (telephone, intercom etc)

6.   Make campus safe for students with adequate security & lightning.

7.   To formulate & prepare proposals for - rain-water harvesting/solid waste management/ etc.

1.   Supporting students belonging to ST/SC and minority communities.

2.   Draft and finalize sports programme like college week, inter college tournaments in collaboration with Students’ Union.

3.   Helping students for their further studies and to make them employable person. Instituting cash award for winner of coveted awards of national and state levels and giving cash award to meritorious students.

4.   Activating Alumni Associations.

5.   Encouraging students to participate in all co-curricular activities like NSS, NCC, Adventure Club, Cultural Club etc.

             6.  Giving special concession to outstanding sports persons, physically and economically challenged.

1.   Prepare vision plan for the development of the college and make necessary arrangement for plan of action.

2.   Monitoring various activities of students’ bodies and ensuring effective functioning of different academic departments.

3.   Streamlining academic and extra-curricular activities.

4.   Convening frequent meetings of various Committee under IQAC and ensure effective implementation of decisions and review of actions.

5.   Encourage faculty members to expand and diversified themselves.

6.   Looking for more feasible resource mobilization.

7.   To make the administration more transparent, democratic and effective.

8.   Provision of good governance such as maintenance of students discipline, imposition of penalties, character studies, dress code etc.

1.   To organize and make concrete arrangement for the cleanliness drive, HIV/AIDS Awareness campaign, tree plantation, drive for eco-friendly development programmes undertaken by Government as well as private sectors.  The Committee will, if it feels the need, establish or form a Sub-Committee on Sanitation.

2.   To ensure qualitative change in existing system and prepare suggestion for the same.

3.   To innovate students to exhibit literary and cultural talents

4.   To organize maximum number of programmes on social justice among the students to become respectable citizen.

5.   To strive for community development programmes.

6.   Conducting scientific system of feedback from stakeholder (students) for the overall improvement of the college.

             7.  Render social services projects with the help of Govt., NGOs, and Community.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.         To make the Campus a Ragging Free

2.         To curb ragging and its evil aftermaths. The Cell will function with a strong will to end this barbaric act, and the anti-ragging cell will be instrumental in this endeavor.

3.         To organize necessary programme for the fresher students to bring any instances of ragging in the campus or hostel rooms to the notice of the college administrator or to the Cell, and to take stringent measures against the students involved in any kind of ragging.

             4.         To encourage any students of ragging victim to lodge complaint against the culprit.

            3.         Provide counselling and guidance to any students who feels that they are victim to domestic violence                         or any other such cases relating to domestic issues.
