ADMISSION NOTICE for 2023

1. APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION:

               Students passing Class XII (or equivalent)  from any stream may be admitted to BA Course. Candidates not eligible for direct admission may submit their Application Forms duly filled and supported by all necessary documents to the office. After direct admission, the remaining seats will be filled on merit.

2. DIRECT ADMISSION:

          Candidates who secured First Division in Cl-XII (or equivalent) are eligible for direct admission (Excluding Vocational Course and NIOS)provided they secure:

•   65% marks for English Major

•  60% marks for Mizo, Education, Political Science Major

•  60% marks for Geography (Geography in Class XII)

•  50% marks for History Major (History in Class XII) 

•  50% marks for Economics (Economics in Class XII) 

Candidates from Science and Commerce streams may be given direct admission in all departments (except in Geography) provided they secure an overall percentage of 60 % in Cl-XII (or equivalent). Direct admission will start from 22nd May till 26th May, 2023.

3. IMPORTANT DATES FOR ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE:

a)  Filling up of forms for Admission                   :  22^nd - 31^st May, 2023

b) Direct Admission                                                  :  22^nd - 26^th May, 2023

c)    Publication of 1^st Selected list                        :  26^th May, 2023     (College Notice Board & College Website - ganc.mizoram.gov.in

d)    Admission for 1^st Selected list                  :  29^th & 30^th May, 2023 

e)    Publication of 2^nd(Final)Selected list    :  30^th May, 2023(College Notice Board & College Website - ganc.mizoram.gov.in)

F)    Admission for 2^nd (Final) Selected list :  31^st May & 1^st June, 2023

              (Admission must be done during the stipulated time failing which their seats  will be forfeited)

4. RESERVATION: 

               Seat Reservation is made for General, SC, OBC, PwD, Children of Alumni members and Distinguished Sports Person.

5. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED      :        

      For submission of admission form: 

              Xerox copy of - HSLC Marksheet and Certificate, HSSLC Marksheet, Certificate (for SC/OBC/ PwD)   & One recent passport size colour photograph

      At the time of admission (for directly admitted and selected applicants):

              Xerox copy of  - Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, HSLC Certificate (not marksheet), HSSLC Marksheet, Certificate (for SC/OBC/ PwD)  & Original copy of Migration Certificate  for non MBSE.
