Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Aizawl North College was established in May 2005 through the committee of the Heads of Department to meet the requirement made by NAAC, Bangalore for the purpose of maintaining quality sustenance measure. It is a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture at the institutional level. IQAC works through various Committees and Sub Committees formed on the basis of seven criteria suggested by NAAC and the same was coordinated by Coordination Committee.
The IQAC successfully prepared and compiled Self Study Report (SSR) in 2008 and consequently the NAAC peer team visited the college in the end of 2008 and the college was awarded Grade B in 2009. At this juncture, preparation for Second Cycle Evaluation and Accreditation is on the process.
